BeneART CumberFINALS

I was kinda debating with myself rather or not this should be on my account, but eh, in the end I figured "why not?"

This is what I drew for my Art Finals this year (I took Sophomore Painting and Drawing I), I thought it came out pretty well.
The assignment was to pick something you drew earlier in the year, but differently to show that you improved.
I decided to redo my Charcoal-Pastels portrait. Originally, I drew myself, but for this project I decided to draw someone better looking than me.
It was fun, my teacher LET ME USE HER COMPUTER TO FIND A REFERENCE PICTURE and all the idiots around kept saying it was really nice^^ I really had fun with this, I loved it. If I ever get the chance, I want to go to A C Moores and buy some Sepia paper and charcoals, I absolutely fallen in love with this medium. I don't have much experience with Realism, but this drawing gave me a bit of a confidence boost

But gosh was this a lengthy project. It took me roughly 3 class periods and one testing period, so that totals to around 7 and a half hours o.o But I did have a lot of fun with this
Also, it's in Black and White charcoal with Green and White Pastels on Brown paper. But I was really hating the background so I smoothed it out in SAI _{Actually, I had to sew together this picture in SAI because it was too big and had to be scanned in four parts}
